BASIC LAWS
The citizens of the countries with which we have a mutual agreement, can buy property in Turkey. People from foreign nationalities need to be careful about the followings while making a purchase on real estate :
- According to the constitution of The Republic of Turkey; real estate purchasing procedures must be done under a contract.
- After the contract signed in the presence of a notary, a deed for the purchased property must be registered.
- After the sales contract is signed, the title deed must be registered.
LEGAL RESTRICTIONS FOR SALE FOR FOREIGN PEOPLE
- The citizens of the countries with which we have a mutual agreement, can buy property in Turkey.. The sum of the immovable property cannot exceed 25000 square meters.
- A permit indicating that the region is not a military and security zone from the title deed of the property to be purchased. According to the law, it is forbidden to sell immovable property in a military security zone to the foreigners.
