BASIC LAWS

The citizens of the countries with which we have a mutual agreement, can buy property in Turkey. People from foreign nationalities need to be careful about the followings while making a purchase on real estate :

  1. According to the constitution of The Republic of Turkey; real estate purchasing procedures must be done under a contract.
  2. After the contract signed in the presence of a notary, a deed for the purchased property must be registered.
  3. After the sales contract is signed, the title deed must be registered.

LEGAL RESTRICTIONS FOR SALE FOR FOREIGN PEOPLE

  1. The citizens of the countries with which we have a mutual agreement, can buy property in Turkey.. The sum of the immovable property cannot exceed 25000 square meters.
  2. A permit indicating that the region is not a military and security zone from the title deed of the property to be purchased. According to the law, it is forbidden to sell immovable property in a military security zone to the foreigners.
